How to tell the screenshots apart
The 2015 game is a 2D plan of a robbery. The 2026 game is a chunky 3D kitchen, a checkerboard floor, and a dark hall. If a page is selling a key, it is not the path Garcia published. His files are the two zips on itch.io, described on our download page.
I am not reviewing the heist game. The Steam numbers are identification, so you can leave if you landed here by mistake. More lookalikes, including the film and the album, are on Which Masterplan?.
Questions
- Are they the same series?
- No. Shark Punch released a tactics heist in 2015. Santiago Garcia released a first-person horror short on itch.io in 2026. Nothing on either page says they share a studio or a story.
- Which one is on Steam?
- The 2015 game, Steam app 313080. On 2026-10-27 Garcia’s game was itch.io only. His other title Only Faces Remain has a separate Steam page. This one does not.
- Should I buy a Steam key for the horror game?
- No key is required. The 2026 game is name-your-own-price on itch.io, including a no-payment path. A Steam key listing for “The Masterplan” is the 2015 game, or a listing Garcia did not publish. This site does not sell keys.
